YEP to Hold Meet and Greet with Tyler Palko
Just days after the Pitt vs Penn State Rivalry Game, former Pitt Star and NFL Quarterback Tyler Palko will stop by Erie on Monday, Sept. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Emergency Room Bar and Grille, 832 State Street.
Palko became a cult hero with the Pittsburgh Panthers. During his time at Pitt he threw for more than 8,300 yards and 66 touchdowns. He twice led the Big East in passing touchdowns, and in 2006, was fourth in the NCAA in completion percentage (68%) and passer rating (163.2%). Palko went undrafted, but played over five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Kansas City Chiefs.
Palko is currently an executive at Solutions 21, a leadership-development organization that provides businesses with programs that focus on people and strategic development. Palko helps businesses attract and retain millennial workers and manage inter-generational challenges. 21 Solutions has locations in Pittsburgh, Kansas City and Phoenix. The firm’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to startups.
The event is presented by the Young Erie Professionals (YEP), and open to its members. YEP is an organization comprised of young, active, civic-minded professionals committed to making Erie, PA a better place to live, work, and play.
