Fly Erie Fund

The Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership (ERCGP) created the Fly Erie Fund, LLC (FEF) to provide direct assistance to airlines seeking to provide additional air service (carriers, routes, and frequencies) for the Erie region via Erie International Airport – Tom Ridge Field (ERI).

 The FEF has already secured direct air service to Orlando and Tampa, Florida, via Breeze Airlines for the Erie region. Funded through private sector and public sector contributions, the FEF provides direct incentives to airlines via minimum revenue guarantees or cost-per-enplanement subsidies. 

Since FEF was created in November 2023, annual seat volume has increased by 57%, and passenger load volume has risen by 90%.  

The Fly Erie Fund is helping to fly more people to more places - and ensuring that this vital piece of our region’s transportation infrastructure is vibrant and growing.
