Erie. PA (January 11, 2024) – The Jay & Mona Kang Art Show and Sale: Total Eclipse of the Art presented by Barber National Institute is now accepting original artwork entries by regional youth and adult artists for exhibition April 5-8, 2024.
One of the region’s largest and most diverse art exhibits, the Barber National Institute Art Show features the creative works of youth and adult artists across a variety of media including photography, painting, ceramic, sculpture and drawings. Artwork is selected by a panel of judges for cash prizes for the artists, and a People’s Choice Award is determined by visitors to the show.
This year’s show illuminates the talent of regional artists during the once-in-a-lifetime event where Erie is in the path of totality for a total solar eclipse. Artists are encouraged to have fun with this year’s theme Total Eclipse of the Art.
Visitors can celebrate this celestial moment beginning April 5 and culminating with the total eclipse on April 8 at 3:16 p.m. for prime viewing at the Barber National Institute main campus. Official eclipse viewing glasses will be available at the show!
